She has a plethora of experience working for brands in the media, sports & fitness, fashion, beauty, luxury, and hospitality industries. Outside of social media and marketing, Kayla has also attained experience in editorial, production, public relations, app development, and helping grow two company start-ups.
Some of the interpersonal skills Kayla showcases in professional and personal settings include being a leader, detail-oriented, organized, responsible, communicative, easily adaptable, and capable of thriving in both a team and independent work setting. She also brings an outgoing and optimistic attitude, helping her find the positives in any situation.
Being an advocate for mental health, climate change, and human rights, Kayla has made it her mission to continue to be involved in all three throughout her career and use her platform to spread awareness.

The SPORTYNSPICEY brand was created by Kayla Machlica in August 2018. What started originally only as an Instagram handle, soon became the personal branding for all things media, business, and online and in-person personas for Kayla. When you think of SPORTYNSPICEY, you think of Kayla, who she is, what she does, and what she loves.
Daily, you can catch Kayla in gold pair of hoops, lip gloss, a pair of black sunglasses, a comfy outfit, a Starbucks refresher in hand, and some kicks to finish off the fit.
Kayla created SPORTYNSPICEY.com as a creative outlet to showcase her interests, passions, and talents, and use her platform as a positive space. Ever since she discovered a love for journalism and media back in middle and high school, she always wanted a place of her own where she could share her creative side through visuals and write about sports, her style and lifestyle, sneakers, music, life in New York City, and social justice issues she is passionate about.
